The Society’s Secretary since 2001, Anne spent over 20 years working in the trade undertaking varied administrative and management roles before her appointment.

Howard Carl Newman FBHI
A Fellow of the British Horological Institute and Past Master of The Worshipful Company of Clockmakers (2010-11) Howard is a Horologist and Jeweller with over 48 years in the trade. A Trustee since 2016 he is one of the two representatives for the Clockmaker's Company.
  
Vice-Chairman
Paul Roberson FBHI
A past Chairman of both the Society and the British Watch & Clock Makers’ Guild, Paul is a Fellow of the British Horological Institute, and has over 50 years’ experience as a Clock and Watchmaker. He has been a Trustee since 2011 and is the British Horological Institute’s representative on the committee.

Keith Angliss FCA
A Trustee since 1994, Keith has served as Honorary Treasurer since 2000.
 
Robert Ball LVO FBHI
A Clockmaker for over 61 years, Robert is a Past Chairman of the Society and has been a Trustee since 1994. He is a Past Chairman of the British Watch & Clock Makers’ Guild and is the Guild’s representative on the committee.

Paul Cradock LVO
A Clock Conservator, now retired, Paul is a Past Chairman and Honorary Secretary of the British Watch and Clock Makers’ Guild. Formally a Liveryman, he is a Past Steward of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers and was a Fellow of the British Horological Institute. A Past Chair of the Society, Paul has been a Trustee since 1996.

Elizabeth Gill
A Clock Restorer, now retired, Liz is a former Council Member and Fellow of the British Horological Institute. A Past Chair of the Society, she has been a Trustee since 1998.

Luke Gleave
Involved in the trade since his earliest years, Luke joined the family business full time, as a horological wholesaler in 2012. Gleave and Company have been serving the industry since 1948 and Luke is the third generation to run the business, sourcing and selling parts and tools to the trade. Luke has been a Trustee on the committee since 2018.
 
Valerie Leonard FBHI
A Trustee since 1992, Valerie is a qualified antique clock restorer, now retired. A Fellow of the British Horological Institute, she is a Past Chair of the Society.

Brian Pestell
Commencing in 1960, Brian spent 43 years in the clock trade, he served as President of the Horological Sports Association, was Chairman of the British Horological Federation and currently he is a Member of the British Watch and Clock Makers’ Guild. Brian is a Past Chairman of the Society and has been a Trustee since 1986.

Patrick Sheehan FBHI
A Trustee since 2022, a Fellow of the British Horological Institute and past President of the Horological Sports Association, Patrick has worked at H S Walsh & Sons Ltd since 1963. Now owner and CEO he leads a team of dedicated staff with over 400 years of collective service supporting the Jewellery and Horological trades.

Camilla Szymanowska
With many years’ experience in Charity governance and administration, Camilla worked for some years as Clerk to the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers. She now serves as a Livery Clerk in the City, where she acts as Secretary to their Charity Trustees. She is working towards Chartered Governance Professional status and has been a Trustee of the Society since 2024.

Robert Wren FBHI
A Fellow of the British Horological Institute and Senior Warden of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, Robert is a clock restorer and conservator with 48 years in the trade. A consultant to Christies, and a visiting lecturer at West Dean College, he has been a Trustee since 2024 and is one of the two representatives for the Clockmaker's Company.
